Vincent Everarts

Vincent Everarts lives and works in Brussels. His photographic practice explores the shifting spaces where art exists beyond the frame in transition between exhibition, storage, and everyday surroundings. Through series such as “Décrochage” and “Déplacement”, both shown at Rossicontemporary, Everarts reveals the subtle relationships between artwork and environment, documenting paintings and sculptures in moments of suspension or displacement. His recent series “Drive-in Theatres” shown at LEAF, Boghossian Foundation (2025), are photos of outdoor cinemas in deserted locations in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. He writes: “To me, drive-in theatres stand at the crossroads of three media: cinema, photograpy and painting”. Everarts’s work is part of the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi and the Lhoist Collection in Limelette.
